So i installed the wings-a-loft system into my car, and got the actuators to work, but they can't open the doors consistently, especially trying to open both doors at once. Individually, its far more reliable. The driver side door opens flawlessly, but i need to click twice on the key to open the passenger side. So i was thinking about potential causes and solutions to the problem, and it seems that the main issue is that the linkage bars aren't tuned properly, so it takes a bit more force than the actuators are capable of to open the doors. The doors function flawlessly manually opening and closing the doors though.
I'm not sure how to adjust the linkage rods if that's the problem, because it seems like the center screw (don't know the proper term) is more or less stuck, making lengthening/shortening impossible. Any advice on what to do?
on a side note, i'm not sure how to connect the wire coming from the control module to the Door Lock Module. I have the Lockzilla unit, and it seems the instructions provided are meant for the stock DLM. so i'm pretty much lost on the remote lock/unlock aspect of wings-a-loft.
I also emailed Toby, so i'm waiting on his input as well.
