Does your driver side engine coolant hose hang low at the back of the car too?

When looking under the car, everything else is nicely tucked up except for this part of the coolant routing...just wondered if this is how it is or if something is out of alignment or can be easily fixed to get it tucked up like the other side....

I checked at the top and the coolant pipe is connected where I believe it should be; the otterstat will only let it move so far and the hanger is right next to it...

You have to play with the hoses & the fit to get it right. When looking under a properly fitted car, there is nothing of significance hanging below the frame/underbody except for the transmission & oil pan.

These are the best shots I can find on my PC. The upper hose is my car: the metal tube is essentially parallel to the frame. The under-car shots are another car, but mine looks the same as far as low-hanging items are concerned.

I'll try pushing the tubes into the connector hose more; hopefully that will tighten the section up...

That should get it.

Hello Josh,
Twist (rotate)the pipe on each side of hose and hose will pull upward and "straight".

Thanks Byrne,

I did the twisting as well as closing a coolant pipe to pipe gap inside of one of the rubber hose couplers by pushing one of the tubes in farther which brought the whole assembly up far enough to make me happy.

Thanks for the help everyone!
