I recently bought a box of various Delorean related paperwork and one thing included was a Technical Information Manual. It seems I had herad of this in the past but this is the first time I remember seeing one. It's different from the shop manual. The inside cover says it was printed in 3-81 (March 1981). The technician name is M. Crandall and he apparently worked at a dealership called "R. O. Evans". The date by the name is November 23, 1981. There are phone numbers written to K/PAC, Delorean 1 in Houston, Swdish Delorean and Motorvation in Dallas. The book has a lot of technical information. One thing I like is that it lists the three pages of bolt sizes for a lot of parts and the torque specification for them. Anyone familiar with this book. I'm considering selling it. I picked up an airbox for sale also.

We sell a reproduction of it, but one with the tech's notes is pretty cool to have.
It was put together by DMC as a dealer training manual, in fact one of the POG guys you hear about here from time to time put most of it together for use when they ran around to dealers training the techs.
I find it a useful manual.

It has it's use but for the most part all of the information in the TIM is in the Workshop Manual. It was meant to be a handy reference for an experienced tech and possibly a handbook for a training course outlining the areas unique to a Deorean.
