DeLorean owners:

We are at the early stages of a new car restoration television show and are looking for unique cars with great stories behind them.

Do you or someone you know have a DeLorean, or another project car you’ve been meaning to fix up but just never got around to? Something that’s buried in your backyard collecting dust? A car that you’ve had since childhood and just can’t part with?

We're looking for people in GA, NC, SC, AL, or TN with unique cars and interesting stories for a new TV show where we put in the work to get these cars back on the road. We'll hear your story, then take your car and fix it up for you for a fraction of what it would usually cost. Restorations won't be on the same level as a show like "Overhaulin" but our goal is to work with owners and give their car a second chance on the road.

If you think you and your car fit the bill, send us a brief background story of your car and situation.

The only information we are allowed to announce now is it'll be airing on the History Channel and we are looking at early 2015 for air dates.

please contact us at: [email protected]

Thanks.

Cheers Dave. I was only joking! Hehehe;)
It wasn't looking for overseas stories anyways.

Red one? That has been out of the country few years back

It had a German registration and those are only allowed to stay in the country for 6 months.

I watched the show "Lost In Transmission" last week and it did indeed feature the restoration of a Delorean in HORRIBLE condition, disintegrated frame, painted purple, Bondo'd left front fender etc. (They ended up buying a parts car and merged the two.) I wonder if that show was the result of the first posting.... would be interesting to know.

sure ?

it was bought by a Museum AFAIK

I never heard a car that is not on the road must be brought away.

After reading the thread about the impounded Saudi car in Greece, I did a bit of research on that 6-month rule. Turns out Greece doesn't play around.

What's a museum AFAIK?
That car was in a Greek car sale site for a long time and now it's gone. I was told it was sold abroad.
If it was still in Greece I am sure I would have heard about it.
Mine hit the roads a month and it's viral on all social media of classic car lovers.
