Hey everyone;

So my turn signal indicators haven't been working for a while. It started with them dimming a year or so ago, and now they are just gone. I replaced the fuse box (unrelated issues, just updating) which didn't fix it, and also pulled the binnacle and replaced the bulbs with LED's. While in there, I cleaned all of the contacts and got nothing. Thoughts? Thanks!

Is the flasher relay still in place? Do you get any noise?

Just the dash indicators aren't' working, or the signal lights aren't flashing all-together? What about hazard lights.

The actual signals are working fine. Hazards as well. It's just the indicators, same with the hazards, the indicators don't flash when they're on either.

Are the LEDs in backwards?

Negative. The only thing I can think is that somewhere inside the body of the car there's a pinched/cut wire.

Is your flasher rated for LEDs? This was my issue on Sunday. Had no signals, swapped it out and everything works great. I went with the Tridon EP35 from Advanced Auto Parts. $12.99= happiness.

There's something I hadn't thought about. I'll check that this weekend. It's not the worst problem that I've ever had, just an issue of aesthetics. Thanks everyone!

I had the same problem with 4194. It turns out my NOS hazard switch had an bad internal connection...it was made by Lucas, so that should come as no surprise to anyone. Check it out with a multimeter and the electrical wiring diagram for reference. If it isn't making the proper connections, it can be taken apart and cleaned.

This is confusing now. Are the turn signals completely dead, or are they working outside and just not on the dash indicators?

If the outside ones are working, there isn't much it can be other than the indicators in the dash or the wiring/connectors at the cluster.

Dave, the turn signals, as well as the flashers and headlights are all working fine, it's just the indicators in the cluster. What's so odd is how they just went out one by one, until they didn't work. I've been at the mercy of time this week so haven't been able to get into it, but hopefully I'll be able to play Friday and see if I can find anything up with the relay, or pinched wires.
