For those who are interested here are the specs. for a recently purchased DMCH 140 amp alternator. Info. derived from the testers tag and dynosheet.

Voltage Regulator setpoint - 14.7 volts (sounds a little high to me)
Idle output - 91 amps
Max. output - 123.7 amps
