I am a new proud owner and although I have been reading this forum for hours and hours I still have many questions.
One of them is how the light bulb inside the Hazard light switch should behave.

At first I thought the bulb was broken as it didn't light up when operating the hazard switch. First I changed lights inside the light switch and the hazard switch with LED's. Still no light (inside the switch) when activating the hazard lights. The switch it self works perfectly. After some time and head scratching I came to the conclusion that the light inside the hazard switch only comes on when the lights are activated.

My question is, does the light inside the hazard switch only come on when activating the lights or should it also flashes when operating the hazard switch?

The light is on so long as the park light circuit is on (first click of the headlight switch). It does not come on or flash with the hazard switch itself.

There are two rows of connectors on the back of that switch - on the side with five pins the centre pin is the positive for the light and is connected to the park circuit (red with orange), the side with four pins (if orientated so the five pin side is to the right) the second from bottom provides the negative.

Thanks Chris for your quick reply. This confirms that the light and the switch itself works as intended.

There is also a bulb inside the headlight switch that illuminates the button when the lights are on, same as the hazard switch (same type bulb also).
