View Full Version : Fuel Installing DPI's Frequency Valve Lines

Has anyone out there picked up a set of braided fuel lines from Josh at DPI? I'm installing the Frequency Valve lines and could use a second opinion.
- How tight should the right angle hard connection be at the feed end of the freq valve (part 102400 for reference)?
- I'm thinking of adding fuel line clamps to the pintle end of the freq valve on the rubber line portion of the line. Have you done this?

You shouldn't need to over tighten this connection. If there is any type of pitting or damage on the line end it will not seal properly. Check the frequency valve ball seat if you are having an issue.

On the other end where it jumps from the frequency valve outlet to the braided line via -4 aeroquip line there should be a hose clamp (supplied with kit) on the frequency valve and -5 line end.

Thanks for the tips, Josh. I didn't notice any clamps in the kit, but I may have overlooked them, ill check again. And I picked up a "new" freq valve with a good (non-pitted) connection on it, so hopefully that won't be an issue.
