I recall a thread on the old DMCTalk about storing the car.
I thought it would be a good call to get another thread going discussing the best way to store a DeLorean for a short term (i.e. for the winter) or long term (more than a year).
We could talk about:
- when to use fuel stabilizer vs draining the tank
- tire air pressure
- leaving the doors open (Some do!)
- putting the car on axle stands
- rodent deterrents
- proper way to store both carbed and K-Jet systems
- cooling system storage (if any)
- specific engine concerns
- etc.
