Picked up a set of these about a week ago. They could certainly be a more refined design for the price -- a double-edged connector (c.f. an old Nintendo cartridge) would have been nice, and one of the boards I got had a dead socket, but DMCNW quickly switched it out for me.
However, the price for the boards + bulbs is an absolute steal, as buying this many 18SMD LED bulbs alone costs more than the price for the boards + bulbs + flasher. The bulbs are bright and look great; it's a relief to know my brake lights are working every time, unlike my old crappy original boards and bulbs.
When I bought my car two years ago I had Toby wire up relays to the side running lights so that they flash along with the turn indicators. He wasn't sure that the LED-compatible flasher relay would function correctly with this setup, but it does. So anyone who has this mod who was considering making the switch, go for it!
