Fuel Injection hose?

One of my fuel injection hoses on 2930 is not holding pressure.

Do I have any options for finding or building one locally, or do I need to order it from one of the vendors?

I'm on a time crunch to get this car done!

Other than that, the fuel system seems to hold pressure. I'm missing the hose that, if you're looking at the engine, is the middle on the right side. Cylinder 2, #102323 from DMCH.

I'm in Atlanta.

I'm wondering if a hydraulic hose shop or auto parts store might be able to remanufacture the hose, or if I can buy whatever the hose is made up of and assemble it myself.

I am fairly certain there are no b28's in any nearby junkyards…I keep an eye on the ones I know about, at least.

It's an injection hose. I found the CSV line, so I set yours aside.

I'll let you know. I'm going to drive up to Truck Pro on my lunch break. I'm told they make fuel lines and might have what I need. If they don't, it looks like I'm driving to Canada again! :)

No luck at Truck Pro or pullapart. Pullapart has an 86 volvo 760, but it's a turbo 2.3.

I just contacted a delorean parts dealer very close to freeside. I'm hopeful that they'll have it or be able to get it.

They have them. They quoted me $20 for the one I need.

They close at 6pm, so I'll be dropping by there tonight.

Sometimes I forget that our stainless beasts are Volvo related. I'll definitely be using them more if this works out.

See if they carry the copper seals, hollow bolts and injectors too.

You would never find one on an eagle premier, as that car has does not have mechanical fuel injection they have multi-port EFI.

Same deal with MOST volvos with the V6, you would have to find a pre LH 2.2 car (pre 84, I think.)

They do have / can get the hollow bolts. I don't think they have the sealing washers.

He quoted me $92 each for injectors.

I'll definitely give them a call next time I'm missing something engine related.

You can't use generic high pressure fuel hose for the injectors because it's too flexible. The pressure at idle will start to oscillate due to fractional "balooning" of the hose and it'll cause your injector to start pulsing - you'll be able to feel it if you hold the hose. The engine will misfire at idle as a result.
