Very cool! I recently got a pair of the HC Mags, along with all the parts to upgrade them to EL panels and a 9v rechargeable setup, but if these are priced within reason (which is doubtful) I'd be all over them!

That's interesting. The laces seem to tighten via a turning drum in the sole.

I am not expecting these things to be cheap.

I don't even think the price is going to be the issue (likely $300+), it's going to be the availability. People camping out overnight, riots, shootings...love the sneaker collecting crowd.

Reviving this old thread, because Nike is waaay late with this.

LOL, nevermind unaffordable auctions, it's a raffle-lottery, with 84 (!!!!!) total pairs available to ticket-buyers. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!

On one hand, it evens the playing field so everyone can have a "chance" at winning, BUT, those chances are probably extremely slim. Extremely.

That's alright, just as soon as the lottery is over you will see some of them on E Bay for a ridiculous price. if you want them really bad that is how you will get a pair.
