Hey guys, I may have gotten in a little bit over my head with this valley of death that turned in to a huge project. I really need to get this done, and my time is kinda running out. I have two excellent people in San Antonio but our schedules and lives are kinda getting in the way. Plus, this has been going on since November and they have been great.

I am curious if anyone would be interested in flying down to San Antonio for a couple of days to help me get this finished. I would of course cover airfare, food, hotel and anything else you might need. It's coming into the busy season for me and frankly I want my car back. Shoot me a pm if you are interested :)

What kind of problem did you have with the valley of death.

Just time. A lot of this is requiring two people. Right now, I cant get all of the hoses on the water pump by myself. The two small ones are giving me all kinds of grief. I damaged something in my elbow so I cant really put a lot of strength into certain tasks....We made a little progress today though, we got the new spark plugs in, new distributor, new rotor, new coil, a couple of cooling hoses, and the wires back to the starter. So still to do I have to get the rest of the cooling hoses on (had to order ones that fit but they didnt arrive today), reinstall alternator and repair the little wire that runs to it, somehow manage to get the new waterpump installed, pressure test system, and try to remember how to get the rest of the engine together. Then I have to install the rest of the SPEC1 exhaust, DPI 2 piece AC lines, and thats about it.

Right now, its cold as balls. The city shut down today because it threatened freeze. Texas dont like cold weather.
