Door Light Question

Just getting my list ready to submit to DMCMW for parts and I had a quick question that I was hoping someone could answer. The rubber seals on my door lights are very brittle and at the end of the summer I noticed that a bit of water had gotten into one after I washed the car. (which is how I found out) I made a note to ask, but things were busy and I forgot until I pulled out my list today and decided to go through it. Does anyone know if you can get just the rubber seals or do you need to buy the whole door light assembly (such as Red Door Light Assembly (https://store.delorean.com/p-6931-red-dr-light-assy.aspx))? They all look pretty brittle. If I do have to get all new assemblies, can you install them without taking the door apart?

The rubber seal is the whole fixture. You can buy the lens without the fixture but not the fixture without the lens.

Sometimes you can pop the fixture out of the door, fish the connector out of the hole in the door and unplug it. Sometimes the wiring is wrapped around something inside and you have to take the door panel off. More often the ones on the side won't reach but the center will.

Hmm, thanks Dave. I wanted to replace the door lights with LEDs but if I pull those seals off, I think they will be toast. Maybe I'll put that on the "next order" while I focus on some other issues first.
