Hello everyone,
I have already posted on the DML a couple days ago but I couldn't decide on where to post here. I hope this is the correct section as this really is DeLorean related.
A friend of mine is a painter and we just had a conversation about his work. I asked him about making a painting of the car and he liked the idea very much. He even proposed making a painting with the owner of the car to make it more personalized. He can make the painting from a high quality photograph.
This is a chance to own a real piece of art! The paintings are all made by hand, on canvas, using oil based paint.
Anyone interested in a real painting of any size? Please let me know. Send me a direct email and we’ll discuss the details.

Here's an example of his portrait work. The painting was made from a picture (that picture is the smaller one ;) ):

BTW, let me know if you are interested in his other work, not necessarily DeLorean related. Most of his work goes to an art gallery in Washington, DC where it is on permanent display.
Please understand that this is not an offer to make a poster or anything of that sort. We're talking about real art! On the other hand I have received a question about making a BTTF poster but have the face replaced. I really like this idea.
Standard painting sizes are:
100 x 70 cm (39.4 x 27.5 inches)
50 x 70 cm (19.7 x 27.5 inches)
50 x 35 cm (19.7 x 13.8 inches)
Those are the common sizes but any size is possible. And I do mean ANY size!
