I'm probably being to cautious but I wanted to ask you guys about this before I start applying a wrench to these nuts holding the crossover pipe to the manifold. Some sort of lock nut? I just haven't run across whatever seems to be setting on the top of these nuts before.

Thanks

When I did mine, I didn't have anything like that. But I have heard Hervey has sold lock nut type nuts before.

Its just an all metal lock nut. I've run across some of these in my car before. DMCH calls them aero nut similar to SP10170.

Deep down it is a foreign car so it is going to have some weird and unique fasteners. My favorite is still the Pozi Drive screws.

The studs will break. Heat them up bright red first and you stand a chance that they will come off.

The are locking nuts.

Lol, funny to think pozi drive screws are so unusual in the US. They really are everywhere here in Europe. On everthing. :)
