This is pretty cool. It can print on heat shrink tubing to label your wires.

Printer is about $79

Those links don't work. Label printers like that (that can print on heat shrink tubing) have been around for a while. Expensive. All of the wiring in the car is color-coded. Where it gets messy is like where you have 6 wires and they are all black, they are all grounds but who knows what each is for? Same problem on the alternator where you have all of the brown wires. It is rare that you need to know exactly where each wire goes as long as everything is working as it should.

Those links worked on DMCtoday. I guess we have some different software here so I replaced the links with a PDF.

Yes the stock wiring is color coded but if you need to replace some wire or add a new circuit it saves you documenting it on paper.

Nice... Do you have to buy their shrink tube?
(I'll admit, I didn't read the whole spec - just glanced.

Cheers

They sell the tubing in a few colors and sizes. I guess you could also make tags with printer tape so you don't need to remove existing crimped pins.
