Help with identifying a part

Hi all I'm new to this forum. I have been given the task of repairing and cleaning out my cousins house and garage in Georgia. I have sold the Delorean that was in the garage but now he has given me the job of trying to inventory all 500 or so DMC parts as well. I have inventoried all but 3 different parts. I'm looking to identify the parts in the attached picture. Thanks for your help in advance.

Would that be before or AFTER you bought it? It is hard buying electrical parts.

I can tell you that all parts are in original packages but some of the tape on boxes of larger parts has come loose. My cousin bought all inventory and dealer sign off of Capital Lincoln-Mercury in Tallahassee,Florida when Delorean went bust in the 80's. The Original DMC Dealer code for this dealership was 09116. All parts have been quietly sitting in garage. I have attached a current list of all parts that I have inventoried thus far. I never realized there would be this many.

It's a throttle cable support bracket/clip assembly. It mounts the throttle cable to the right hand rocker cover. I could not find the p/n for it though. The star tooth push on retainers are not part of the assembly though.

The parts are from a dealership inventory buy out. No specific VIN relationship.

Yes, but his cousin was an owner and he presumably bought them for his car, which he has since sold.

I doubt they were for his car specifically. He probably got the whole inventory fairly cheap. Figuring parts would be hard to get in the future. I doubt this had anything to do with a restoration project. But rather a hedge on the future needs of his car. Just me speculating of coarse.

Like the one time I was welding a seat bracket on the floor of my saab and I suddenly smelled gas. Turns out that a little ball of molten steel rolled across the floor up against the plastic fuel line that ran on the floor of the passenger compartment (great design). I had a 1' high shower of gas spraying towards my welder. That was pretty much my last attempt beyond anything other than a stereo install.

Stud from the back side of one of the kneepads.

It's a stud with insert from a knee pad.

The picture is a bit fuzzy, so kinda hard to tell, but it looks like that's Space Station Regula 1 right there. Hope you get there before Khan does!

It would screw back in except that the kneepad plastic has split so it fell out.

When you sit in the car there is a padded thing on the bottom edge dash just forward of your knees. That's a kneepad. Sorry, no photo handy.

Knee pad? Those two padded pieces on either side of the steering column.

The fiber structure around the thread insert likes to split with age. The hole expands allowing the insert to fall out. Epoxy would be the best way to put it back IMO.

Have a look at the 4th picture Eddie posted in his for sale thread. This is the passenger side kneepad, but you'll get the idea what the back of them look like and it shows those bolts you're asking about.
