Spec 1, Stage 1, and Special T exhaust, oh my!

So, I can plainly see the difference with the Special T Auto exhaust but what about the other 2. Same price and they look the same, at least from the pictures. Any real difference? Has anyone seen/heard the two side by side?

Youtube has lots of videos. Even multiple systems back to back in one video.

Muffler shape of DMCH has changed to accommodate Stage 3. Josh's come from stainless works.

Anything is better than stock.

The pipe shape and length is actually quite a bit different between the DMCH set and the others, as is the collector design. They most definitely do not look the same. These are a couple shots of the DMCH exhaust. You can use for comparison.

Yeah I don't get why people keep saying they look the same. Quickest way to tell is by the collector flange. Stage I systems are always blown out everywhere and SPEC I flanges are nicely sealed with a stamped copper gasket. :)

Stainless works manufactures this as our private label. We designed and they manufacture.

We also offer a life time warranty through our manufacture. Who also happens to be the best in the business. This system is also a direct upgrade path to our base twin turbo systems, other upgrades. Making other upgrade paths pro rated etc.

An exhaust upgrade is also in my future sometime soon. Does anyone have numbers to compare horsepower gain between DMCH's offering and DPI? I think there a few threads with dyno results but I don't think I've seen a good apples to apples comparison on two similar vehicles. It's always been on different brand dynos with cars that differ in varying degrees from stock, auto vs manual transmission, etc.

If these comparison numbers exist could somone please post a link, or post results here? I think it would be beneficial to anyone considering an exhaust upgrade to have an accurate comparison...

Ideally I'd be interested in seeing a HP/Torque curve comparison on the same dyno for cars with stock exhaust, Stage 1, and SPEC 1 tested on otherwise completely stock cars with 5 speed trans.

The lifetime warranty for the SPEC 1 system negates all other options in my opinion. I also prefer the 3-bolt flange connection at the cats.

Well from my experience, a warranty/guarantee is only as good as its fine print. Not to say the spec 1 guarantee isn't the best thing since sliced bread. I haven't read it.

What kind of warranty is offered on the stage 1? Does the spec 1 come with all the needed gaskets and the like?
