A lot of that Delo comparison going on.

It's an extravagant car, fast as hell, sounds like a super car but with 1.8l engine the only super car resemblance is the price:(

A couple of months ago, I saw i8 at a dealership and wasn't too impressed, especially with $90,000 markup.

Saying you'd rather have a Tesla than an I8 is kind of like saying you'd rather have a Mercedes S550 than a Porsche. Similar $$, but not the same target market.

They were selling it for $200,000+ so I said no.
but if my wife let's me spend $200K, I would have to consider Ford GT, 911 GT3, R8, MB AMG gull wing, slightly used Lambo or Ferrari. Still no to i8.

I randomly came across an i8 yesterday when I was leaving work... For whatever reason I thought it was much more attractive in person than what I've seen in photos. They are much smaller than I had imagined.
