routing new braided clutch line and a question about fuel accumulator lines

So how did you guys run your new clutch line? Did you just duct tape it to the the old and pull it through? Any known aggravations with this installation I should be looking out for?

Also I pulled my old fuel accumulator. I want to replace the soft lines running from the hard lines to the accumulator. They came off the accumulator fine but seem to be stuck on the hard lines pretty well. My thought is to just get a razor and cut them off. Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?

No need to use the old one to pull the new one in, the new one can be installed easy enough. Besides, as you pull the old one out all the old brake fluid will be coming out and getting all over the place. Run the new one the same way the old one was installed. As for the fittings, depending on where you get the replacements you may get new fittings. Check with your favorite vender. If you are trying to source your own hose make sure it is for fuel and can handle the pressures the K-jet system runs at.

1 - It runs just above the frame flange on the driver side. Zip tie it to the air conditioner line if needed. If you cut the old one and pull it out, be sure to blow the fluid out of it first.

2 - Yes, just slit the old hoses with a razorblade, just be careful not to nick the barb fitting or you can get leaks. DO NOT take the barb fittings off the "car" end or you will risk bending the lines.

So just to make sure i'm on the same page. My accumulator lines appear to have these fitting on both ends.

I slice through the lines and I should find barbed fittings that the new lines are pushed onto, correct?
