My hood has the trifecta of problems. Sharp dent, bad crease and the dreaded x. I know Chris Nicholson is the best but I think even he couldn't fix this. I guess I'm looking for a new hood but I only want this type. Pretty sure I'm screwed. What you guys think?344913449234493

I have seen stuff Chris N did and I think even this hood can be repaired. Call Rob Grady, Chris is going to be in the US for a little while soon and maybe you can get into the schedule.

That can be repaired. I had a similar gouge on my hood and Jon and Toby at DMCNW were able to repair it with no problem.

Can they fix the X? That would be the challenging piece...

Like to know if this is possible as well.

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkIf I recall correctly, I was quoted somewhere between $500 and $1,000 to repair my hood X by him. Shortly after I found out from Nick Sutton that my hood was one of the few that had the hood X in the factory (cold temperatures really amplified the effect for mine), and they attempted to alleviate it. Now it has a sort of sentimental value to it, so I've kept it.
But yes, hood X is most definitely repairable.
