Anyone else have these on their cars? Mine is an Aug. '82 build, titled as a 1983 and I was wondering if this was an owners attempt at keeping the panels straight... not sure why that would be since they can only go on one side... or if this was a KPAC way of organizing things... not sure, just asking. They've been on the car as long as I've had it (10 years this past June) so I'm just now getting around to asking y'all.
Thanks a lot for your input!

I also have an Aug 82 build (#16128, purchased from original owner a couple years ago).....and I don't have those.
I purchased 16682 from the original owner and haven't ever seen those on it or any car.

Well... here it is... 'TP 23' and 'TP 30' labels are simply a previous owner's way of remembering his tire pressure... James Espey, when I posted the pics to FB mentioned it and cracked the case...
Honestly... as I typed to him, sometimes my mind just doesn't think... TP=tire pressure and the numbers obviously match up with the recommended pressures for the front and rear tires found on our glove box label. Not some long-lost historical DeLorean find or some ancient DMC labeling procedure... oh boy... a lot less exciting, thanks for everyone's input.

Bingo. Tire Pressure. Military vehicles use this. Check any vehicle & you will see "TP ##" on the fender above the wheel.

Well, I'm surprised the tire pressure is only 23. That sounds a bit low. But I guess I'm even more surprised that I didn't know what the tire pressure should be.
I have Pirelli, and was thinking the pressure should be 32 in all four. I'll research further.

I run a little higher on my D. About 26 or 27 in front. I just don't trust the tires staying on the rim with 23 PSI.

Yeah, I run a bit higher as well but on the glove box lid, the sticker does say 23front, 30rear...
Oh my, well sorry for the wild goose chase on the imaginary "DeLorean fender number system"... sometimes my mind thinks too much into things and doesn't think of the obvious things...
