Since I could not find help by searching the forum I figured I'd just ask. My Wings-a-loft suddenly stopped responding to my remote. The remote's batteries are good ;) That's as specific as I can currently get. Maybe a connection is loose somewhere? Does anyone have any advice on how to track down the problem before I take it down to DMC-CA? Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks!!! Tom

Advice for any remote lock/latch/release box, not specific to the Wings-a-Loft one.

Check the owners manual for troubleshooting or call the vendor. Advice beyond this:

Check connections to the receiver. Disconnect and reconnect each one
Check that you have 12V+ going to the remote receiver - check at the last connection in case there is a fuse ahead of that
Check for proper ground to the remote receiver
If the receiver has a reset button on it then give that a go

My "wings" install was handled by the previous owner, but it has separate fusing for the receiver so you may want to check for a blown fuse?

Also, both door launchers have their own relay so you may want to check both of them are good (e.g. the receiver may be working fine, but both relays are bad?). Unlikely, but could be the problem.

Main unit could be bad. When I got mine, my remote never worked. It turned out... I had a bad main unit. Once I got a replacement unit, everything worked.

As Rich has recommended, try resetting your remotes. You can also contact Toby and ask for his opinion on this.
