Sad. The D does have a pretty crappy horn I'll admit.

Mine sounds pretty much like that - didn't think it was supposed to have two tones and be louder. Just thought they skimped on it.

Mine had one stock horn and one aftermarket when I got the car, and they sounded pathetic. Since the DMC horns were only $18, I treated the car to a new pair, plus ensuring the electrical connections were clean and solid. Man, what a difference! Two tone and loud. I took apart the old stock horn and inside was a rusted mess. Although it still worked, it was weak.
