So, I recently started getting phone calls from friends asking if I was selling my D because they found one in town for sale. Though definately not mine, I was extremely interested in what was actually for sale. The Texas registry states that there are 40 Deloreans in Alaska, but in all my time I have only put eyes on two others locally. The first was an 83' from a car show back in 2005 that I got pictures of, but unfortunately no Vin shot. The second was vin 1106 that has been sitting in front of an Asian restaurant for the better part of 15 years w/o being moved. Though I'm not in the market to purchase another D, each sighting of another car gets me about as giddy as a 3rd grader capturing proof of Bigfoot. Not only do I want to see the condition of the car, but would always like to connect with other owners in hopes of one day starting an Alaskan Delorean club.

My third sighting just happened yesterday.

All the way across town in a lonely fitness club parking lot sat The car I have been receiving frantic phone calls about. Turns out that it was vin# 5967. I silently joined another person the was looking at it, mentally cataloging the condition while also taking pictures. I called and spoke with the owner and got more information including price if anyone is interested. If so, PM me.

PS, you know the rules; when mentioning any type of D that has been spotted you need to state interior color and transmission type (like weight and length of a new born :) )

It's a October 81 build with a grey interior, 5 speed, and a grooved hood.
