I bought the new fuse box from DMCH.

Any advice on how to remove the rivets that hold the old one in?? Seems hard to get to with a drill.

Those rivets hold metal clips that hold the fuse block. You should be able to press on the clips to release the fuse block.

On my car those metal clips were broken so I did drill them out. I pulled the metal plate out of my car to do that.

Actually you can usually just grab the base of the fuse bloch and pull firmly upward to release the block and reverse this procedure to reinstall. It takes a few seconds each way. The wire transferal is what will be the major timesuck!
