No problem, everybody. I'm just glad that I found it!

Pete Ellis Dodge was an old dealership in Southern California, second only to Toyota of Orange and Cal Worthington for their earworm jingles. I could have sworn that I have their name in a dealership listing in my car as an authorized DMC Dealer...

In any case, it looks as though PED was one of the brave dealerships that decided to buy up stocks of DMC-12s from Consolidated international post-bankruptcy, and sell them. PED was also a Renault dealer, AND Consolidated I've been told also somehow wound up with a large stock of non-DMC PRVs at one point was selling them to places like Sun Enterprises and Swedish Auto Services for complete long block replacements for warped headgaskets on overheated cars. Don't know how true that was though.
