I’m replacing the Engine wire harness in my ’83 DeLorean. I’ve found a mystery (should have made better notes when disassembling, I know) connection… the temp sensor at the rear of the passenger-side cylinder head, the one where the wire is secured with a washer/nut instead of a plastic plug. I need to confirm that the wire in the attached photo is indeed the correct one?

Also, the wire harness I got from DMC seems to ship without the white, plastic staggered double connector that mates with the one at the throttle. Attached is a picture of the connector-less wires?

Any help is appreciated... oh, and no slamming me because my intake ports are exposed... I'd just shop-vac'd the valley. :)

Temp gauge sensor. That's the correct wire.

Yes the harnesses ship without shells, you either transfer the old ones or find another way to make the connection. They have been missing for years.

Did you get the two extra heavy brown jumper wires?

Just a heads up. I see the retaining clip on your #1 cylinder injector is not fully seated.
