Metal fuel return line from engine bay bent. Replacement?

Hi, I'm replacing the the soft return line from the the distributer to the metal return line. During my struggles, the metal line bent and kinked slightly. Is there an easy way to replace that metal line? Also what is a good way to remove the soft return line; it's stuck on the the fitting. I'd hate to leave a 30 year old fuel line on my car...

Use an adjustable pliers on the hex to rock the fitting forcefully side to side usually does the trick. Be carefull not to mar the threads.
Wrapping it with a brass punch can work to be the limited access makes this method less effective.
As for the kinked line the usual fix is to drop the chassis for access. Please don't shoot the messinger!

Well, I fortunately got the line unkinked enough for use, and thank God for that! Now, I just need to remove the soft line. Thanks for the tips BTW.
