Very pleased with the struts that Rob supply's. They have a very nice damping affect as the door gets close to the top preventing a bounce.
Don't look further than PJ Grady for struts!

How so? I'm not being a jerk, I'm actually curious. The pictures you posted only indicate that they are different colors.
I've got Toby's right now but I'm always on the look out for my next set.

Hey my logo's are upside down! I've rigged them to explode on the 7th closing of the door when that happens. It's your mission Jim should you decide to accept it ;)

Lol Sorry Rob afraid my OEM OCD wouldn't allow the stickers to face up! Lol
It's difficult to see the quality difference in the two pics but the other isn't finished particularly well plus it wobbles when in the upright position.

Our gas springs are custom made to my specifications and incorporate over a half dozen changes/improvements from the standard specification. I'd tell you all of them but then I would have to kill you Nicholas! "Try it you'll like it!".

The other one (black piston rod) appears to be the Mexican Stabilus brand. POS IMHO! Sorry if I offend anyone. I get too emotional to be PC when it comes to gas springs....peculiar I know!

Just swapped out the Stabilus brand door couple-year struts installed by PO with PJ Grady's. Now doors open wide with no effort.

I was about to say the same...
"Labels up!!!!"
Funny, I actually cursed at myself for putting them on labels down and had to take them off to fix it.
Cheers

I think they're even worse than those Rob. They came from a certain European specialist supplier of Chinese parts ;)
