Curious question about seats....

I like my seats, nice n comfy (even though I need to recover driver side)...

But I was wondering if there was any kind of option to have a height adjustment?

There is none.
The only workaround would be to add a few washers between the floor and the seat when installing it, but that will only get you a fraction of an inch.
You need the seat raised?? I'm not a big guy, just average size, and I have to keep the steering wheel at the maximum raised position to fit my legs between it and the seat.

Some owners have replaced the seats with Recaros and other brands that get more adjustment.

I would be very curious to hear more about what seats where used and what was the process or modifications to get it to fit.

I would like to get a seat set up that is lower and further back if possible.

Dont 'need' it raised...but having a little adjustment would be nice

Delgato, maybe a racing seat would get you lower and further back? They are smaller than normal seats..although not as confy.

On long DeLorean trip I toss 3 or 4 big bath sponges in the car.
By placing them behind my back, under my knee or alongside my
leg helps relieve pressure points. works good
