Saw this on an Ebay car just now. Ever see such a thing? I suppose worse things have been done to cars, but I would imagine there would be limited miles associated with this mod.

That terrifying clamp on the front spring!

I see a weird homemade appearing clamp on the spring, looks like it is compressing the spring together. Very strange.

I've seen something like this before. Somebody didn't want to bother buying new springs. I've found a bunch of lead weights somebody put in the jack storage compartment of a DeLorean as a means to lower the car.
