Longshot: Searching for a DeLorean from Lansing, MI

[BladeBronson]

I'm trying to track down a DeLorean bought from Capital Cadillac in Landing Michigan in 1985/86. It is a gray 5 speed with a flat hood and emblem and rear antenna. I don't know the VIN.

You might get some information from the DMV but they usually require a vin # to do a search. If the dealer is still in business they might be able to help.

[Nicholas R]

Without any other information, that is indeed a long shot.

That dealer is still in business. A friend of mine used to work in the parts department and gave me an original service manual & tech manual that they still had.

Unfortunately I don't have any connections there anymore but if you were willing to pay for their time, they may still have the records somewhere!

Contacting the dealership is a good idea. Believe it or not, I hadn't thought of it!
