Hi all,

Since I am in the process on working on my D. I started taking off a few engine parts. I took the pulley brackets off along with the pulleys. So I decided to make a design for the brackets!

I also have a set of billet aluminum pulleys for my Trans Am. I was looking them over, as well as the new chrome a/c compressor I bought for the D, and thought I should make billet pulleys for the D. I started designing and finished the design quick!!

I just designed the pulley for those 2. When I get to the rest of the pulleys on the engine I will try and design whatever I can!!

I just want to know if people would really be interested in this idea???

Thank you,

Billy

Josh Bengston actually has these for sale in stainless now. You might want to talk to him before you design them and have them made.

Ok, I'll scratch that off!!! LOL!

I've never seen them at all, where have you been hiding them??

1. How much do they sell for??

2. Do you also make/sell the pulleys?

Thank you!!

Ooh, sweet. I may have to pick those up, even if they don't get installed until I get around to doing a full engine compartment cleaning.

Are they coated in some way to prevent galvanic corrosion between the aluminum block and the stainless, or is it not enough of a problem to worry about?

DPI Josh, I cant see them on your website

How much do they go for $ ?

I was going to design them as well, since I work on Catia V5 and know a couple of machining places around here !

Thats is what I am asking!! I am very interested in them, sinc eI am getting my car together. I am working on the engine and need these parts. I've sent several mesages and email. No response.

I've made designs, they are accurate. I just have to order them, but since they are already made there is no point to make them. I'll wait a bit see if I get an answer, can't wait to long, really have to move ahead.

Billy,

I bought a stainless idler pulley bracket from Josh back in March for $95.00 + tax. It is a real nice piece, installs like the original and works fine. I called Josh last Friday and had to leave a message. Maybe he is out of town? He had always gotten back to me but it might take a few days.

Made it back this afternoon Jeff. Spent the weekend at weddings and working in Pittsburgh. You are correct on the price. If you send in your old unit we can also press in the new bearings for you and swap over the required components.
