How is the flasher panel supposed to be supported?

A previous owner stashed a stereo amplifier in the driver's footwell and moved some stock components around. I've removed the amp now, but found that part number 105076 was just hanging from some zip ties. I've looked at page 3-6-2 but don't quite get it. Does anyone have a photo, or can you explain how to properly support this? Thanks!

It snaps in to place above the steering column. There are clips on the edges that grab the steel framing up there.

Oh wow, it really goes up there. I'm not sure if I got the upper speedo cable routing correct though. For anyone that comes across this thread in the future, this panel goes above the air duct that goes to the driver's door.

When replacing my turn signal flasher relay, I also discovered my panel was hanging loose there by the trunk lever. What's the easiest way to re-attach the panel up there? I took a quick look but there's no visibility because the AC duct is in the way, so I'm assuming the AC duct needs to come out?

The AC duct pops out pretty easily; it will give you plenty of room to maneuver in there.
