Overall in great condition. There are a couple broken parts / cracks and some scuff marks, all fully documented in the photos. Can be easily repaired and re-painted. These retail for $850 - http://store.delorean.com/p-9594-sunshade-louvre.aspx. Asking $450 here. Local pickup preferred. Thanks!

The louvre has been bubble-wrapped/packaged and is ready to ship. Just needs a buyer. Due to its size and weight, it costs a lot to ship, which is why I initially wanted to try and sell it locally. I'm willing to cover most of the shipping $ myself, so for an extra 50 bucks I'll ship it anywhere in the 48 continental states. In other words... $500 shipped.

Just to chime in, I have had great luck shipping things via Greyhound Bus service. Very cheap and have had good experiences.

I love the box, great idea.

The writing on the box might save it, but that's not much bubble wrap for this type of item (they break easily.)

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll be looking in to that.

I put more padding inside the box, and it's also an inner inside an outer box (that was the only way to get a box that big). And since it says mirror and fragile on it, the shippers will be more careful with it. Hopefully.

I would slip some thin plywood on both sides of
the louver to prevent pokies.

The best way to build a box for something like that is to build a square of 2x4 lumber and cover the sides with the cheapest 1/4 plywood you can find. Shipping as shown it will break in transit 90% of the time. Unless it is in your own minivan.
