Racing Seats in a DeLorean- Awesome or tantamount to vandalism? Open discussion. What are your all of your thoughts?

To me its just personal taste. I actually find the stock seats very comfortable so I wouldnt change mine out. Ive thought about putting racing seats in it, but I dont want to lose the look of the stock ones.

I like race spec look or Stainless/Aluminium pilot seats might make a interesting look, but the original seats are surprisingly comfortable even after an 8hr drive.

Racing seats in anything that doesn't have the oomph to back it up - ridiculous..

assuming you mean one-piece seats with a 5 point harness

I can't find it at the moment or remember enough about it to search through key words for it, but wasn't there not long ago a video clip of a modded DeLorean as part of either a college project or company promo that got some sort of engine swap/EV change/ or other and it had racing seats in it? If anything, just to give you the visual on what they might look like. If anyone remembers what this link was, post it here.

You know, that one was all I could find and yet for some reason I think it was a different one. Like the car has some decals on it or a wrap of some kind (dark colour maybe?) and it was on display on top of a parking structure in Vegas or California or something.

Although you feed your brain with too many DeLorean things and sooner or later you might have visions or dreams of DMC stuff that never happened... :eek7:
