A work tradition started a few years ago, with a Christmas Themed Gingerbread House competition (between departments) at the Christmas Party.

To my surprise (or not), a few co-workers in my department wanted to do a BTTF Courthouse themed display for our Gingerbread House this year.

We were able to prep the cardboard base in advance, but we were given the "stock" Gingerbread House and 45 minutes to complete the task.
We did some prep work over a couple lunch hours this week, and I a "fabricated" a candy-cane version of the lightning rod pole this morning.

Voting started today at the Christmas party and the winner will be announced by mid-week next week. I'll let you all know if we won or not.

See attached photos.

Note: Our goal was to use at least 88% edible building materials.

Well, our BTTF Courthouse was beat by the Land of Oz themed display, with a Yellow Brick Road made out of Capt. Crunch cereal.

Attaching a few close up photos of the Santa Doc Brown (his Santa hat turned out well).

You were robbed! By far, that's the best Gingerbread Clocktower I've seen on this board all month. :)
