Currently looking at a car that has original, or at least older belts and hoses on it. Looks like they may still be good, but I'm not sure I'd trust it. What does an average shop charge to replace all the hoses and belts on the Delorean including the costs of the hoses and labor? Thanks!

A shop should charge less than an hour's labor plus the cost of the belts.

Previous post was "just" the belts. Doing all of the hoses will take a lot longer plus the anti-freeze and the time to fill and bleed the system. Assuming you mean all of the coolant hoses and the heater hoses it could take the better part of a day. This does not include all of the hoses, seals, and gaskets on the motor under the intake manifold. If you are doing all of that it usually includes the Otterstadt switch and seal, the idler bearings, radiator cap, heater valve, and thermostat. That leaves the radiator, the header tank if original, and the water pump. Different vendors sell different kits so you can't check them by price only, you have to know what is included in their kits. Belts you can find locally but finding all of the other parts locally will be difficult. After repalcing all of the hoses etc the shop should pressurize the system to 15 psi and check for leaks.

If you are going to post try to be constructive and answer the question? Otherwise if you are going to be sarcastic start a new thread. I am sure the OP doesn't want to be in the middle of this.
