Hi guys,
Is there any reason I should not plug up my fuel return line, since it's not being used (I have an engine swap with a carb). The reason this comes up now, is last time I got gas, and didn't know if it was full, due to the stupid pump nozzle constantly shutting off at a couple gallons (in California we have those rubber boots for vapor return). And then gas decided to find its way out the back from the fuel return line...

Thanks for any input.

Greg

Your return line should have been plugged when you did the engine swap unless your using a pressure regulator with a return line.

Thanks- I don't think there's a pressure regulator, since fuel came spilling out of it.. And one time I accidentally hooked up the engine vacuum line to it which is a whole other story...

Like other mechanical questions relating to your car, it is very hard to answer as it is a swap and no one knows how the PO did things. Such as the plumbing of the fuel system.
