At some point someone ran new positive leads from both the jump lead terminal and the lead that disappears under the body at the bulkhead. The only issue is that they used black. In the pictures here you can see the original red was spliced with a black lead then run to the solenoid. No idea why.

Anyone know the part number for this lead? I can't find it.

I was looking under the car again. The positive lead (part # 106263) runs out of the battery compartment and up and between the body and frame. Does it run right to the solenoid on the starter, or does it spit off at the bulkhead in the pontoon?

I'm pretty sure the lead from the battery would run right to the starter. Then the other power leads would mate to the starter. That would be the most reliable way to wire the +12 volt from the battery.

Now I changed my battery wiring to connect to a buss block first and then the other circuits all get power from that buss block.

Jump Start Lead is P/N 108315

Item 21 HERE (http://store.delorean.com/c-339-3-1-0-battery.aspx)

Zoom in on the diagram to see the solenoid connections for this and for the + batt cable 106263 you ask about

I see now. Yes, it looks like one long lead directly from the battery to the solenoid.

Thanks folks!
