View Full Version : General Dixon Hollinshead
I am sorry to say that last week Dixon Hollinshead passed away. After building the DMC factory, Dixon stayed on with DMC and, among other things, was instrumental in locating the property for the West Coast QAC. He and his wife Barbara, (who passed a few years earlier) worked as a team in N. Ireland. While Dixon was working on the factory, Barbara, who was also a realtor, found housing for the newly hired executives, and also helped their wives adjust to the new country. They enjoyed attending DCS events and were very generous with their time and memories. They were two of the nicest people I have ever known and they will be greatly missed. --Matt Sommer

I really enjoyed meeting and getting to know BJ and Dixon, especially at DCS 2012.

I'm sorry to hear about this loss. I never got a chance to meet them, but obviously their memories will live on in those that did.
RIP

For those of you that had never met Dixon or if you do not know much about his contribution to DMC, please review the following tribute video.

I would like to thank Jordan Livingston for compiling this tribute video (on request) mostly from the footage that Jordan taped at EuroFest 2011.
RIP Dixon ... you will be missed.
