I can't voucne brand but in a word yes mine helped tremendously. Completely changes the personaloty of the car.

Yes it does. I installed this on my car about 8 years ago. I believe you could notice an immediate difference, especially during harder turns, as well as in reducing some of the front end float on the highway. A couple years later I added the lower control arm support brackets from DMCEU. The combination of the two significantly tightened up the front end, which I would recommend to every owner.

To be honest though I think that the lower control arm brackets do more to improve the handling than the strut brace does, but the brace certainly has its benefits too. The brace is also only about half the cost of the brackets so there is a financial aspect to consider.

Absoutely, every Delorean needs the front end recall, boxed in LCAs, and strut tower brace in that order.

I think on most cars the strut tower brace is more gimmick than function because there is so much strength engineered Into the chassis. On a Delorean, there is nothing but a plastic bowel and a set of flimsy LCAs.

I run Toby's tower brace, which hides under the carpet nicely and allows the spare to be removed without any trouble. I also run his poly bushings and Eds LCA brackets. I couldn't tell you how much each one does on its own but all together (along with new lower ball joints) it's just fantastic. Rock solid both at speed and braking.

Like Nick, I have both the strut bar and DMCEU's support brackets. Love them both.
I first started out driving with just the strut tower brace installed. I noticed an immediate difference, even at low speeds 25-45mph. Steering felt more tight & responsive. My front end float at highway speeds was removed when I lowered the front end with Grady's springs years before installing the brace.

So years of driving with the brace I finally installed DMCEU's support brackets (many thanks to Cliff S. for recommendation and help with installation) and noticed even more stability. Braking at high speeds the car did not waver and tracked straight. More expensive but I had to get them since my wife encouraged it :-) Hard to say no to that! :-)

If money is an issue, go for the strut tower brace now - what ever brand you should be happy. Save your money up and get the DMCEUs brackets later.

Im actually saving up (slowly and accepting donations...hehe) so I can get the suspension upgrade from Toby..My suspension is past it and shocks are petrified...I'll have to ask about that brace that fits under the carpet.

I need these. My car is about done except for that and new struts. Everything else is cherry:( Just finished moving though so I am broke. GAH!
