What do you guys think about the Hagerty valuation tool these days? Looks like they have the car dropping in value a bit after October 2015. Is it spot on? If it is, it looks like some are charging too much.

I assume this is the page you're talking about: https://www.hagerty.com/apps/valuationtools/1982-delorean-dmc~12
The values look a little bit low to me, based on what we've been seeing lately. I dont think they're too far off, but maybe low by a couple thousand (more-so at the top end than the bottom end).
Also I've never before noticed the figure that says: -5% for automatic cars, -30% for painted. I have no opinion on it, but it's interesting.

This Hagerty guy is clearly nuts. -5% for automatics?? :p
And you would think that Hagerty would know that the first letter "S" on a VIN plate is for UK manufacture, not Ireland.

Based on what i have seen, prices have not dropped and are in fact on the rise....
I always loved book value debates. If I had a dollar for every car i have sold with some clown crying to me about Kelly blue book value and I need to sell it to them cheaper, id be rich. I always show them the Nada value that is ALWAYS higher than kbb. That said, I have always sold my cars for more than what some book claims to know.
The other side of that is, the car is worth what someone is willing to pay +/-
