Fan speed circuit breaker

Hi Guys,
I was wondering what should be the standard practice handling a melted connector? My fan speed circuit breaker (number 18 ) caused the one of the connectors to melt. I had no idea this is happening except that Rob Grady noticed it while inspecting my car – see image attached.
I should probably replace both the circuit breaker and the connector, right? Does anyone have any recommendation for a good quality replacement connector?

I really appreciate any advice you can provide.

Use ring terminals. Those "fast connects" are really not rated for much above 30 amps. Was this the cooling fan breaker or the air blower breaker? If for OEM cooling fans I suggest you check the fan currents.

It's the blower motor breaker, the 30 amp one.
