battery light flickers when turned to accessories

We installed a new alternator from DMC Midwest, seems fine and dandy but my battery light flickers when the key is turned to accessory position. Any ideas? Thanks again guys.

Before you start the engine? It's suppose to. Thats a good thing.

Since you have a DMCH Alternator, it's normal.

Thanks guys. Either I never noticed before and was just hyper aware after changing to leds and new alternator or ,if it has anything to do with the alternator, the old one was worse off than I thought.
