Ed Bernstein Bankrupt?

It's a long story, but another thread got me to thinking about old Ed. I knew that D1 closed up shop, but still decided to do a bit of sniffing around. And it looks like the guy filed for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. Filing 1:13-bk-11035-AA

It also appears as though his house went through foreclosure as well, and they lost it back in 2013:

I lost track of Ed. I heard through several that he was apparently ill and not really the same person anymore. Really sad that he has suffered financially too. In the early days (Mid 80's) Ed was really influential in working with owners and getting them organized and supporting them. I had a lot of great times at events all over the US that Ed and the DeLorean Owners Association sponsored or promoted in those early years.

Don Stegar has been running around with Eddy B a lot these days.
It looks like Ed B still has a shop/warehouse somewhere. I heard from another source he has a warehouse full of parts. And one can get in..by appointment and good Ed B

Odd seeing someone who refuses service or parts to people he deems poor to be eating at Dennys.
He should be more careful in the future, he may run into "commoners" if he hangs out in places like that.
