View Full Version : Electrical Lambda Light On, But Not Plugged In

The other day I went to drive my Delorean, and the Lambda light came on, and my volt gauge dropped to 0 ( no reading ). Battery light did not come on however, and the car drove fine.

The primary issue at hand is I have a 1-piece speedo cable, so obviously the light is unplugged and the counter unit removed.

Can anyone else out there think of a reason this would happen OTHER than a bad connection on the circuit board behind the dash? As far as I know there isn't any real way to test the dash board for that other than to run out and buy a new one, so I want to at least confirm there isn't anything else I could check before I do that.

Thanks.

Which of your warning lights come on if you turn the key to accessories, but don't start the engine?

I would think you have a problem with the flexible PCB in the binnacle. Those circuits have nothing in common except that.
