Plastic Arm rest caps - Narrow or Wide?

How do you determine whether you have the "narrow" or "wide" arm rest bolsters? My drivers side arm rest is worn and frayed from years of sliding in and out of the seat. DMCH sells a plastic cap to cover the ends, but how do you know which one to get? Luckily for those of us with Gray interiors, the parts are in stock.

IIRC, there used to be a knowledge base on the DMCH site that had a cutout pattern to help you discern if you needed the wide or narrow caps. It looks like the KB site is down atm.

When I bought mine from Toby, he said he only carries the wider version. He said they fit fine for both versions of the panels.

I disagree but what do I know? BTW the narrow is 2 & 7/8" at its widest point (not highest) while the wide version is 3".
